Account Manager for Public Sector

Promise Group is a leading Microsoft partner in CEE region, offering a wide range of products and services for clients from various economic sectors, including finance, telecommunications, media, energy, manufacturing, trade, services, public administration, education, and healthcare. The company has been operating since 1991 and, since 1996, has been the largest provider of Microsoft solutions in Poland. Promise Group specializes in software licensing optimization, IT systems design, implementation, maintenance, and business application development. 

 

We are currently seeking talented individuals to join our team in the role of Account Manager for Public Sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and developing relationships with customers from the public sector, acting as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Driving end-to-end sales cycles for Microsoft products, solutions, and licenses within the public sector
  • Acquiring new public sector customers and developing existing accounts through upsell, cross-sell, and services portfolio
  • Advising customers on Microsoft licensing models and solutions, helping them choose optimal and compliant solutions matching their business needs and budgets
  • Identifying customer needs and business opportunities, and preparing tailored Microsoft-based solutions
  • Conducting customer meetings, needs analysis, and solution workshops, both remotely and onsite
  • Preparing commercial offers and supporting customers throughout the procurement and sales process
  • Managing sales opportunities, pipeline, forecasting, and CRM updates
  • Working closely with pre-sales, delivery, and operations teams to ensure a smooth sales process and excellent customer experience
  • Monitoring public sector market opportunities and participating in relevant tenders and procurement processes

Our Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT sales within the public sector, ideally including both central/federal and local government customers
  • Previous experience in selling Microsoft-based solutions and licenses
  • Good knowledge of the Polish Public Procurement Law (PZP) and understanding of public procurement processes
  • Good understanding of Microsoft licensing models and the ability to explain them clearly to non-technical decision-makers
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a customer-centric, consultative sales approach
  • Experience in managing complex sales processes and driving opportunities through to closure
  • Ability to identify business opportunities and develop long-term relationships with public sector customers
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities in parallel and work effectively in a structured procurement environment
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems, sales forecasts, and targets
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Openness to working in a hybrid model from our Warsaw office
  • Polish language proficiency at C1+ level and English at B2 level
