Project Manager (Internal Projects)

Promise Group is a leading Microsoft partner in CEE region, offering a wide range of products and services for clients from various economic sectors, including finance, telecommunications, media, energy, manufacturing, trade, services, public administration, education, and healthcare. The company has been operating since 1991 and, since 1996, has been the largest provider of Microsoft solutions in Poland. Promise Group specializes in software licensing optimization, IT systems design, implementation, maintenance, and business application development. 

 

We are currently seeking talented individuals to join our team in the role of Project Manager (Internal Projects)!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive management of internal IT projects, particularly in the areas of:

    • development and expansion of an internal data warehouse,

    • implementation and development of an ERP system,

    • upgrades and development of internal tools and applications supporting business processes.

  • Planning, execution, and supervision of projects across all stages of the project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, implementation, and closure).

  • Close collaboration with the board, senior management, and key stakeholders from various business areas.

  • Translating business needs into project requirements in cooperation with analysts and technical teams.

  • Coordinating the work of project teams, including development and analytical teams.

  • Managing project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality.

  • Working in an Agile environment and supporting teams in delivering business value.

  • Monitoring project progress, reporting project status, and recommending corrective actions when needed.

  • A hands-on approach to project delivery — actively supporting teams and responding quickly to issues and challenges.

  • Opportunity to participate in projects delivered for external clients (depending on organizational needs).

Our Requirements:

  • At least several years of experience managing internal IT projects, preferably in technology organizations or IT service companies.

  • Experience working with C-level executives, senior management, and stakeholders from various business areas.

  • Practical experience collaborating with development teams and business/system analysts.

  • Very good knowledge of Agile methodologies, supported by practical project experience.

  • Ability to independently manage projects and make decisions (hands-on approach).

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical thinking skills and a focus on business goals and the value delivered to the organization.

  • Very good English and Polish proficiency (minimum B2 level).
